Message from our Chairperson

Partnerships That Anchor Us

Our reach is continually expanding through strategic alliances. We have engaged deeply with community leaders through meetings with the Community Development Committees (CDCs) and Community Development Associations (CDAs), and traditional rulers—including His Royal Highness, the Onilogbo of Ilogbo, and the Onijemo of Ijemo, all within the Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State, Nigeria.

These crucial partnerships enable us to reach survivors hiding in silence, building a robust network of care and advocacy. We also collaborate with law enforcement, legal institutions, and SGBV referral centers, backed by organizations like UNFPA and
the Ogun State government.

Scaling Strategy

With sustained support, OCDI is poised for significant expansion:
 Establish Regional Hubs: We aim to establish two new regional hubs in high-incidence zones: the Lagos suburbs and Ekiti State.
 Train and Deploy 100+ New Frontline Workers: This will significantly scale our response capacity in trauma-informed care, GBV law, and cultural mediation.
 Launch “Voices of Courage” Campaign: A survivor-led initiative combining powerful storytelling and advocacy across various media platforms.
 Digitize Support Pathways: Implement a USSD helpline and a robust survivor case management system to enhance accessibility and efficiency of services.
